CFA Society New Zealand – Associate Membership

Share

The Saturn business has made a commitment to professional standards and ethics in finance by applying for associate membership of the CFA Society New Zealand for all of its Advisers, Directors and administrators. In addition Saturn has two CFA Charterholders on staff, Operations Manager Byeongguk Kim and Adviser Shahrukh Abdali.

CFA Society New Zealand is part of the CFA Institute, a global association of investment professionals whose mission is to lead the investment profession globally by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence for the ultimate benefit of society.

To obtain associate membership each candidate must complete 8 to 9 hours of formal ethics training every two years, meet professional criteria and submit a Professional Conduct Statement annually.

Through its association with the CFA Society New Zealand, our staff also benefit through access to the CFA Institute’s high quality training resources and events.

In the following article Jeffrey Stangl, CFA, President of the CFA Society New Zealand describes how ethics in finance helps to build trust and confidence in capital markets to the ultimate benefit of investors.
